FitForge Privacy Overview
This page provides a practical summary of how FitForge currently handles user data. It is intended as a working privacy policy baseline and should be reviewed before store submission.
What FitForge does
FitForge is a calorie and macro tracking application that supports text, image, and speech-assisted meal logging, editable meal review, daily goal tracking, premium insights, and wallet-based premium access on compatible mobile devices.
What user inputs may be processed
- Meal text: descriptions entered for AI-assisted meal analysis.
- Meal images: photos selected or captured for image-based meal analysis (premium feature).
- Speech transcript: speech input converted to text for meal logging. FitForge uses the resulting transcript for analysis workflows. (This refers to transcript text, not raw audio uploads, based on the current app flow.)
- Wallet address: used for subscription verification and premium entitlement checks.
What is stored locally on the device
- Meal history entries (including macros, calories, and ingredient breakdowns)
- Daily goals and macro targets
- Theme and appearance settings
- Some local app preferences related to wallet reconnect behavior
Local storage behavior may evolve in future releases (for example, cloud sync features). If that changes, this page should be updated.
What is handled on the backend
- Server-side AI processing for meal analysis and AI insights
- Subscription/payment intent handling and verification
- Premium entitlement checks linked to wallet addresses
- Backend operational logs and service diagnostics
FitForge’s current architecture does not require storing all meal history on the backend for core local usage. Backend records are primarily related to premium/payment flows and AI request handling.
Third-party services and infrastructure
- xAI: used for meal and insights AI analysis
- Solana / wallet infrastructure: used for mobile wallet connection and transaction signing flows
- Jupiter / Solana payment routing: used for token payment routing in subscription flows
- Backend hosting and database providers: used to run APIs and store subscription/payment records
